Is Cincinnati REALLY Ready For Terrell Owens?

That is the question!

In this post TJ Houzmanzada and Chris Henry era, where the reality of the queen city (for out-of-towners, that's a nickname for our beloved Cincinnati) having seen more wide receivers come and go quicker than cold beers at a Super bowl party, the uncertainty yet exhilaration that Terrel Owens brings to the Bengals 2010 season is truly an exciting and scary NFL saga to say the least.

And with there being plenty of naysayers in our midst, it's easy to get caught up in the "reality television-esque" drama of it all and simply tell ourselves that a drama-king player such as T.O. will bring more harm than good. Besides, isn't it common knowledge that this player's memorable stunts, consistently giving the proverbial middle finger to the NFL establishment, a risk too big to take for such "good guy" loving city such as Cincinnati? Hmmmm. what say you fans?

Yays? Nays?

Shrugs of indifference??

I personally feel this is EXACTLY the type of fodder and excitement this quaint little town on the river needs. Especially while our country is in the midst of a recession whereby pained locals gravitate towards a little self indulgence every now and then, it seems the drive, determination, skills, star power and yes, a little ARROGANCE, from a high quality player such as T.O. could possibly be the likely progenitor of an "NFL renaissance" of sorts, long overdue in a city who not too long ago, was the butt of all jokes sportswise.

But in the end, it looks as though the "joke" will be on the nonbelievers as this very driven 36 year old, aptly known by his infamous initials, helps his other teammates "KICK butt" all the way to the 2011 playoffs.

Cincinnati Bengals v Detroit Lions! Will The Bengals Continue To Lead the AFC North? You Tell US!!!

No doubt the ENTIRE Bengals Nation will gather again this Sunday, December 6, 2009 (1:00 EST) to see if the NFL underdogs, a.k.a. The Bengals, can pull off another win this weekend to a phenomenal 9-4 season thus far. Are we seeing PLAY-OFFS in our future? *fingers crossed*

It's been a long time coming friends, and obviously Marvin Lewis is trying to use a new formula that is more conducive to winning games compared to prior seasons...but the offense is still questionable and has holes in many people's eyes...and if were not for unsuspecting rookie stars like Larry Johnson-RB, would our dreams still hold true? We say OF COURSE!!

But you tell US!

The Bengals STILL Have a Winning Streak!!! 7-2

Hi Friends,

Like you, as a local Cincinnatian, I am just as surprised and pleased with the Bengals success this 2009 season! As of today, Saturday, November 21, 2009, the Bengals team under the direction Marvin Lewis, have a winning streak of 7-2, which fairs much better than the dismal 4-11-1 season finale in 2008. What say you (fans) for the next 7 games of this season? Is the orange and black headed towards the play-offs? Do tell!

And what are your thoughts on the next game (Sunday 11/22/09) against the Oakland Raiders? Will Larry Johnson (running back) be able to pull us through? Can Chad Ochocinco (aka Johnson) stay humble? And what about the newest signing of Cedric Benson? Is he just what the team needs to finish off a successful season? Let us know!
